What does an idea mean in a script? How to write an idea for a script?

The subsequent scenes are thought out randomly, in which case the screenwriter himself does not know what to draw the attention of the audience to, because he does not know how his script will end. In his script, the screenwriter must always be one step ahead of the viewer in order to surprise, excite, laugh, intimidate, or otherwise evoke feelings in the audience at any time. The screenwriter must set unexpected traps for the audience throughout the script, i.e. the viewer does not need to know in advance what the screenwriter is thinking when watching the film, and does not even have to think about how he will feel in each subsequent scene. To do this, the screenwriter must be prepared in advance, that is, he must have a specific idea in advance in order to form his own script on this idea. Various examples can be used to explain exactly what the idea is, for example, a prisoner who wants to escape from prison thinks of an idea that no one has ever thought of before, and then draws an escape plan. It doesn't matter how the escape plan is drawn up, the main thing is that in the end the escape plan achieves the goal of the idea. When writing a script, the screenwriter also comes up with an original idea that no one has thought of until now in order to interest the audience, and based on this idea he finalizes the script.

To understand what an idea is, the author must have creative talent. Sometimes the screenwriter does not know what topic and in what direction he will write the script, he thinks about it a lot, and in the end he sees the way out in increasing his knowledge by reading a book. However, with increasing knowledge, the qualities of artistic creativity in a person do not increase, if the screenwriter does not understand what an idea is and writes his scripts, relying only on knowledge and worldview, then the script is closer to science than to creativity. A feature film script should be based on artistic creation, and if the script is based on scientific and other technical knowledge, then it is more in line with a documentary film script. In short, a screenwriter, when writing a script for a feature film, should write what he feels, not what he thinks. Since the screenwriting profession belongs to the field of artistic creation, screenwriters must give priority to artistic thinking and creative talent, some screenwriters confuse the areas of their profession. Thus, an untalented screenwriter thinks that he can write a perfect script with perfect knowledge and outlook by watching movies day and night and reading books, but this is a completely wrong way. One of the features of the screenwriter is artistic creativity and god-given talant. A person who does not have a sense of artistic creativity cannot write a high-quality and effective script on an artistic theme. A script idea often consists of one sentence, and a script idea can be expressed in one sentence. 

An example of the above is the idea of the film “Children of Heaven 1999” produced by Iran. The original idea of the film is that a poor student with no shoes wants to take second place in a competition because the first place winner is awarded a cup and the second place winner gets a new pair of shoes. This great idea inspires screenwriters with artistic talent to write a screenplay based on this idea. So, the film " Children of Heaven", created by Majid Majidi on the basis of a perfect idea, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1999.
